In 1971 the collection of minerals began, once the thick enclosing calcites dissolved away and revealed the stunning pink trichromatic crystals you see before you! The Mineralogical record 1987 declared The Hale Creek Inesite a classic California species and the mine has produced some of the world’s finest specimen. Collectors are fond of this mineral and its impact on North American mineralogical history.
